He suffered an affliction which impaired his eye sight Nature, in attempting to overcome the handicap, caused the cornea of the eye to become greatly enlarged, with the result that he had almost microscopic vision. KEEP THIS LABEL UNDER YOUR HAT FOR TOP STYLE! Facing yourself frankly In the m irror now and then Is a good idea. Skins need attention and care helps even the best This doesn’t have to be expensive, for beauty aids are not all bottled in elaborate packages. For example, the humble lemon will help you to a greater loveliness. Every morning wash your face with warm water and soap, almond meal or powdered oatmeal. Then squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a bowl of cold water and rinse the face. This removes every trace of soap, softens the water and leaves the skin in its normal state, which is slightly acid. Repeat the process in the evening but Instead of the lemon water rinse, pat into the skin your favorite cream into which you have stirred lemon juice (a teaspoonful to a two-ounce ja r).
