The Silver Jubilee convention of
the I^ine county C hristian En-
deavor unions which was held
with the local Christian church
was atended by 300 delegates and
visitors. 200 of whom were regis-
tered delegates from ten commun-
ities over the county. High light
of the convention was the old tim-
era banquet sprved in the church
basem ent at 6:00 o’clock S aturday
evening.
Visitors on the program includ-
ed the Rev. C. P. Gates, pastor of
Ladd's Evnngellc church of Port-
land; Dorothy Kliks, sta te C. E.
president of P ortland; Phil B ar­
rett, sta te vice president, Salem ;
the Rev. Claude O’Brien, pastor of
