A. L. Woodard returned Satur­
day from a trip to Franklin
Grove, Illinois, where he went by
airplane to attend the funeral of
a sister-in-law, Mrs. Minnie
Woodard. Mrs. Woodard, whose
husband, Lincoln Woodard, died
only a few months ago, was killed
by a car while crossing a street.
Mr. Woodard returned by auto
and train, visiting relatives and
frifnila in Illinois and Iowa and a
daughter. Mrs. Horton in Seattle,
Washington, en route.
