Case
Juvenile farmers, members of 4-H Clubs from 6 Western
states, will again compete in demonstrations of their many
projects at the Pacific International Livestock Exposition,
Portland, Oct. 7 to 14. inclusive.
For the 14th consecutive year, the winning team will
carry home the much coveted Plummer trophy, a large
American flag.
4-H Club membership builds character, thrift and indus­
try among boys and girls of every age, and teaches them
every important fundainnetal of good farming, care of
livestock, domestic science and many othei worthwhile en­
deavors. Memberships in both 4-H and Future Farmers
organizations are showing excellent growth from year to
year.
Young people, as well as adults, will enjoy the many
unusual educational features of the Exposition, together
with the huge exhibits of livestock, including the Nation­
al Dany Show Exhibit, Land Products and exciting en­
tertainment supplied by a hair-raising Rodeo and magni­
