Business men need some of the enthus iasm exhibited by the high school students and high school i athletes. Students too might be given an objective lesson in co-1 operation, loyalty and other factors necessary to place a win-: ning team in the field. After it’s all said and done the same factors can be used to, build communities and to make more an better homes. After years of effort the results may look discouraging, but a good; team does not quit when the game is being lost. It’s just as im portant to know how to lose a game as it is to win one. A com munity can be over clubbed and over organized and the clubs develop factions, cliques and clans. Not so with the Booster’s club for it has one objective: to implant more enthusiasm and more interest in high school athletics. Maybe other clubs and, individuals will catch the spirit and if so we can have a better community. suAke Bite Fatalities proximately one out of every i persons .bitten by a poisonous '•’*« of <the poison. Immensely significant factor is that this time none of the nations went to war willingly—they went grimly, with "worried faces, to do what both Germans and Allies think is a necessary and distasteful job. That attitude doesn’t create sentiment for prolonging the “glorious adventure.” RADIO RAY Radio Parts AIR SHOW Sun., Oct. 1 Cottage Grove Airport Featuring Faye Lucille Cox America’s No. 1 Lady Parachute Jumper performing Aviation’s Greatest Thrill The DIVE OF DEATH” From an altitude of 10,000 feet she will fall to within 1500 feet of the ground be fore pulling the rip cord to open her ’chute.
