said in London Tuesday* it had re­
ceived a declaration from inde­
pendent socialists in Germany
that the masses of the German
people "Don’t want this war."
The reported message, written
on the eve of the outbreak of
hostilities, said Adolf Hitler was
going to war with Poland 'against
the will of largest masses of the
population."
"German workers don't want
this war," the reported message
said. ''German peasants don't

tive country we have nothing in
common with the present rei-
