left for Yellowstone park. Miss

Word has been received here of
the marriage at Kodiak. Alaska,
on July 24. of two former Cottage
Grove residents. Miss Betty Jacob
sen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Jacobsen of this city, and
Glen Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs.
W. J. Wilson of Woodburn. The
groom is a former employe of
Kern's for Drugs, and is now ccf-
nected with a mercantile estab
lishment in Kodiak.
The ceremony was performed
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.
J. Erskine by the Rev. Clarence
W. Riley, Baptist minister. The
rooms were decorated with wild
Alaskan flowers. The bride wore
a navy blue suit with blue and
white accessories and a corsage
of orchids. She carried a white
Bible. She is a graduate of the
Cottage Grove high school and
Riverside junior college of River
side. California. The groom is a
graduate of Oregon State college
where he was affiliated with Phi
Sigma Kappa fraternity.
