City arrived Sunday to spend the
summer with a sister, Mrs. Clar­
ence McDenials.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Witcher
were at their home here from
Oakridge for the week end. Mr.
Witcher is employed there and
Mrs. Witcher spent last week
there caring for a sister-in-law,
Mrs. Codgil Zilkoski and infant.
Mrs. Henry Lake and son Phil-
lip visited Sunday- at Blachly
with Mrs. Lake’s niece, Mrs.
George Carey. They were aceom-
panied from Eugene by Mrs.
Carey’s mother, Mrs. Mary Cole.
They also visited Triangle lake.

Mrs. Premazzi’s sister, Mrs. Frank
LaBlue at Hebron.

June 21—At last week’s chib
meeting 23 members and four
guests were present. The hostesses
were Mrs. Harvey Clark and Mrs.
Frank LaBlue Refreshments were
served. Mrs. Chet Gilham will be
hostess on July 6 at an an day
quilting, a potluck dinner to be
served.
Frank LaBlue lost a valuable
cow recently, which he believes
died from eating wet clover.
The county grader was brought
to Hebron Tuesday to work on
the old Rogers lane, which is to
be widened and later graveled.
Miss Marian Vinson has closed
her school at Tillamook and is
with her grandmother, Mrs. Soph-
ronia Vinson. Ray Vinson is also
home on a visit from Alameda,
Cal.
Mrs. Philip Hersey was honored
with two showers last week. One
on Saturday being a double show-
er for Mrs. Hersey and Mrs. Faye
Hayes at the home of Mrs. Fred
Bartels in the Grove, given by- the
Misses Iva Gunter and Marie
