A catch phrase that is. how ever.

those who have arrived at years
w hich should en title them to ease
have done their part to create
w ealth from w hich com e the prof-
its taken by those of this genera-

m any have been able to put aw ay
more than the w raith they created.

work w hich th ey could avoid
It would he ridiculous to pro-

Speaker Cooter told the house Frt
day.
W ho said the dem ocrats never
would learn? N o one ventured to
dispute the statem en t. The m ost
ardent N ew D ealer could not have
struck upon a statem en t with m ore
appeal to his listeners. The sta te
m ent proved the sagacity o f the
speaker, a sagacity th at bodes well
for the su ccess o f the session.
N o republican sp eak er ever m ade
such a rem arkable statem en t, but
that m ay have been because the
republicans never had any a ssis

could get along w ithout any a s
sista n ts to the sergean t at arm s,
the dem ocrats w ill be able to get

We can't help com m ending the

the a ssista n ts. It is undoubtedly
