(.Tone of this city. A large CCC cam p was snow bound at the name tim e. Mi Cone w as called W ednes day of last week to H unter CCC cam p on Hnnth river and the snow »tarted while he w as mak Ing the trip to the cam p on an arm y truck that bad d ifficu lty In com pleting the trip. The snow con tinued all night and trees, heavily loaded with snow, fell In great num ber over the road, com pletely blocking It und putting the phone line out of com m ission. T w o days later an uttem pt was m ade to reach the m ain highw ay. W hile table service had rem ained splendid, supplies were running low and there was a big crew of men to be fed. Three arm y truck», tw o gravel trucks and large crew s of m en were used In the effo rt to break through tw o feet of snow and iem ove fallen trees. By night the crew s had gotten seven m iles and had rem oved 63 trees. T rucks had to be backed half a m ile be fore the return trip to cam p could b,« started. K veryone wa» cheer ful A cam p orchestra furnished m ush and a boxing card was stage«! The next «lay. Saturday, large crew s worked from both ends and caterpillar» and scrapers were put Into service. By afternoon It w as |M»«»lble for trucks from the CCC cam p to craw l out to the m ain highway.
