N Noble an.l Fred Moore In circuit court Wednesday, when the two, on trial for hold-up of Ihe Sharp ser vice station at I^athnnt on June SO. suddenly changed their plena to guilty. On Monday they had entered plea» of not guilty. Noble was given the heavier sentence because he was older, because he had planned the hold-up and because It was he who had shot at and wounded Sharp aa Sharp reached for a gun to use In restating the bandit. In a plea for leniency Noble said that while he was sick in Wyoming he was befriended by Angy Mosta- chettl and her mother, whom he later brought to Cottage drove, that the women w ele without funds, that he gave them all his earnings and when he was unable to get work he planned the hold up In or der to provide for those who had befriended him when he was out of work. He said that he and the women had had nothing to eat for two days Judge Sklpworth reminded Noble that he was fortunate In not being before the court on a murder charge. Mrs. Angela Mostachettl, held aa a possible accomplice of the men. was released as soon as Noble had been captured.
