George Washington Riggs, 77, na tive Oregonian, died Monday a t hie home at Mabel. Mr. Riggs was born April 17, 1853, at Crawfords ville. He was a son of pioneer resi dents of that community. R. V. Riggs of this city Is one of six sur viving sons. Other surviving rela tives include two daughters, three sisters, two brothers and 13 grand- chlldren.
