Dec. 5.—The Social Neighbors
club met Wednesday afternoon ut
the W. A. Witcher home. Mrs.
Witcher, Mrs. F. E. Witcher and
Mrs. Cora Thatcher were joint
hostesses. A shower was held for
the children’s farm hone of the
W. C. T. U., at Corvallis, and 12
towels, 18 tea towels and 41 hand
kerchiefs were donated. The club
also sent a check for $15 to the
home. A delicious luncheon was
served by the hostesses at the
close of a pleasant afternoon,
Twenty five members and one vis-
itor were present. The club Christ
mas tree will be held December
15 at the W. S. Blakely home.
