Parker was slightly burned at his home Tuesday morning when the coils in the stove exploded as the result of' high pressure from , the steam caused by a very hot fire. Mr. Parker realized that i the stove was getting too hot and hearing an explosion inside the | firebox, took off the lid with the intention of taking out some of the fire. The steam and hot water shot out of the stove and burned the right side of his face. The j burn was not serious and he is all ' right now.
