May 26.—Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Ritchey and little granddaughter, Nona Dodson, who are living at Myrtle Point for the summer while Mr. Dodson is employed there, were at the lome of Mrs. Ritchey’s brother, J. W. Fisher, Monday. They returned to Myrtle Point that evening, accompanied by another granddaughter, Ardeth Dodson, who had been attending school in Cot tage Grove and for whom they mo tored down. Mrs. Olive Berry is employed at the Electric bakery in Cottage Grove. Miss Evelyn Rose spent Sunday in Cottage Grove with Miss Kath leen Smith. Tom Richardson was in Eugene on business one day of last week. Miss Mary Tonoli, of Divide, spent last week at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Angelo Perini. Elmer and Frank Miller, who spent the winter at the home of. their aunt, Mrs. Tom Richardson, have moved into a cottage on Sixth street in Cottage Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Perini, Miss Geneva and Kelly Perini accom panied Mrs. Perini’s nephew, Tony Tonoli, of Divide, to Eugcno Sun day to attend church. Roy Kelly, a telephone lineman who had been transferred from Sa lem to Roseburg, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dodge. Miss Kathleen Smith, who spent the winter with Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dodge while attending school in Cottage Grove, left last week for her home. Mrs. L. R. Long, of Cottage Grove, spent Wednesday evening at the homo of her sister, Mrs. J. W. Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. H. Streeter, of Cot tage Grove, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Cl Rose. They were formerly neighbors in Ogema, Sask., and came here together last winter. Mr. Streeter thinks Cottage Grove is all and more than its most enthusiastic booster claims for it. SILK CREEK. (Special to The Sentinel.) May 26.—Mr. and Mrs. Horace Morris, of Waltervillo, wero recent visitors at the home of Mr. Morris’ sister, Mrs. D. A. Estes. T. A.
