Morris, who is ill. Mr. Bittinger is putting a new roof on his house. Miss Is'ota Estes and Mias Maeva Fowler expect to go to Sutherlin this week to attend school for the winter. Both schools are in progress. Joe Marshall, of Sutherlin, teaches the church school and Miss Fannie Young, of Cottage Grove, the dis­ trict school.
