Nesmiths Will Tackle Spring­
field Next Sunday.
Cottage Grove won again last Sun­
day from Ugene, and is the only team
in the Willamette League that has thus
far won a game from home. The con­
test was interesting throughout, the
score being 5 to 4. Baker occupied the
box for the Nesmiths, and did fairly
good work. There were a number of
unsatisfactory decisions by Umpire
Bingham, and it is said that he will re­
tire from the job. There was a large
crowd in attendance. The score fol­
