During a two-and-a-half week period, grant-funded deputies made six arrests for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII). There were 12 more DUII arrests by deputies who were not grant funded. Deputies also issued the following citations: Suspended drivers (6) Speeding (11) Non-emergency contact: (541) 682-4150 Distracted driving (3) Other citations (14) Warnings (65 ) and arrests (7) There were 50 hours of grant OT money for depu- ties this year as compared to 36 hours last year.
