SPRINGFIELD – A warm clothing drive will be held through Dec. 31 in Springfi eld. Items needed include new socks, new or gently used coats, scarves, gloves, sweaters, blankets, back-
packs, rainwear and ponchos. Donations are accepted at two Catholic Community Services of Lane County locations, including 1025 G St. in Springfi eld and 1464 W. 6th Ave. in Eugene,

r pumpkins at Pleasant Hill’s Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm’s
pumpkin patch on a drizzly Friday afternoon. The Ferris’, who are
Springfi eld natives, had previously picked pumpkins at Lone Pine
Farm outside of Eugene but enjoyed exploring a new farm this year.
