story extravaganza at 4:30 p.m. on Tues.,
Oct. 15 at Springfield Public Library, 225
5th St. S’mores will be had, stories will be
told. Bring stories to share. Read from a
script or tell a story from memory. Don’t

has created an informative open house
and survey to receive public feed-
back on the needs and perceptions
of policing in Creswell. Information
gathered from this Open House will
be used to inform the City Council’s
decision regarding additional polic-
ing services. Take the survey online

be entered for a chance to win a secu-
rity system.

CRESWELL – Every year, autumn leaves
are swept into roads and storm drains as
citizens tidy their yards, causing clogging
issues with the water recycling process.
From October through December, the
City of Creswell provides a free-of-
charge leaf pick-up service. All you have
to do is bag your leaves and put them on
the curb. Submit your request on the city’s
website or call City Hall at 541-895-2531
and Public Works employees will pick
them up, usually the same day.
