community may21 2020 VHS Plans Graduation Ceremony The Vernonia School District is planning a graduation ceremony for Vernonia High School seniors on Friday, May 29 at 7:00 pm. This will be a ticketed event, held outdoors in the parking lots and stadium, and is designed to honor graduates and their families while adhering to physical distancing rules. Grads will each be called from the parking lot to walk to the stadium in cap and gown with up to two family members and receive their diplomas. The ceremony will be followed by a vehicle procession through town.
