NW Natural Issues $11.6 Million
in Bill Credits to Oregon Customers
Customers can’t see the effi-
ciencies of natural gas pipelines and un-
derground storage, but they will see the
result of that efficiency as a bill credit in
June.
Once again, NW Natural
(NYSE:NWN) is issuing bill credits to
its Oregon customers – this time $11.6
million. Similar to credits issued in
2017, the average residential customer
will see a credit of roughly $12 in their

To the Editor,
West Oregon Electric Co-op, last
week, again, raised rates. Had enough?
Well members, lets do something.
WOEC Districts 1, 4, and 6 are
seeking new directors. Volunteer. Become
a Director. We need you. How to do this?
Call (503) 429-3021 and ask what District
you are in and how to be put on the ballot.
You must live in the district you apply for.
However, the entire membership of WOEC
can vote for you. You have 2 weeks from
now to do this and be on the ballot. Once
elected, you will be trained in the process of
being a director; and your ideas, concepts,
and perceptions will count.
Two years ago Nick Galaday be-
came Director for District 5, largely due to

sues at hand. He has been vigorous in bring-
ing forth new and creative ideas and reduc-
ing rates. Yet, he is only one voice out of 7.
We need more innovators to work with him.
Mr. Perry, the General Manager, is charged
with professionally carrying out the ideas
and goals of the Board of Directors. He
cannot just change direction because it is
someone’s good idea. To change direction
and manifest constructive changes in ad-
ministration and reduced rates, Mr. Galaday
needs like-minded, new directors to work
with. This is your chance to make a differ-
ence and be part of real change. Become a
director.

“Natural gas is an efficient and
affordable energy source, especially for
handling the peak demands of Pacific
Northwest winters,” said David H. An-
derson, NW Natural president and CEO.
“Our teams put in so much work behind-
the-scenes to make sure we’re efficient-
ly using our pipelines and gas storage.
This year’s bill credits are proof of that
effort.”
For the past 14 years, NW Natu-
ral has returned more than $123 million
in bill credits to Oregon customers. The
bill credits are based upon NW Natural’s
efficient pipeline capacity management
and use of the company’s underground
natural gas storage facility at Mist, Or-
egon.
