vide school supplies so our children
can begin school ready to learn and
not worried about having the necessary
supplies. All donations stay within the
community where they are made. Look
for the “Official Drop Site” sign at these
businesses in Vernonia: R&S Market,
U.S. Bank, West Oregon Electric, Ver-
nonia Library, Bridge Street Mini Mart,
Vernonia Hardware, and Wauna Credit
Union- on Aug 19 there will be a bus at
this site from 2 to 5 pm for you to drop
off your donations.

There are “Stuff the Bus” drop sites in
Clatskanie, St. Helens, Vernonia, Raini-

A workshop on Parent and Grandparent
Rights is scheduled to take place on Wednesday,
August 9 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Columbia County
Law Library, which is located at 270 S. First St. in St.
Helens. The workshop marks the 9 th in the Lawyer
in the Law Library series being hosted by the law
library.
Oregon Law Center attorneys Jesse

speakers. The workshop is FREE and OPEN
