VHS Spring Sports Report
Softball – For the second year in a row
the Lady Loggers have won their regular
season title. The Lady Loggers finished
the season with an 11-1 record in league
play and a 15-4 record overall.
Vernonia swept their final league
series against Knappa, winning 11-1, 14-
8, and 18-3. Between those games the
Lady Loggers pulled off a minor upset,
defeating #2 ranked Central Linn 12-6
on May 10 in a non-league matchup.
