Vernonia
To the Editor,
My name is Clay Sullivan and I
am going to be a senior on next year’s
Vernonia basketball team. College
basketball has always been a dream for
me and this summer I have a big op-
portunity for college exposure. I have
been asked to play for an elite traveling
team called Roots in Washington. There
will be eight tournaments, the farthest
away being in Las Vegas where many
college coaches will be. These tourna-
ments have a fee that comes with them,
so I was wondering if there is anyone
that would like to sponsor me? I am
reaching out to the Vernonia community
because you guys have been so support-
ive of the team. If you would like to help
please call my parents, Todd and Tamara
Sullivan (503) 429-7554 or my Vernonia
coach Dave Weller (503) 805-2801.
