or poems or fiction. Paulann’s
goal is to have each participant
leave the workshop with a trove
of new material. All levels of
experience are welcome. This
is a workshop for beginners and
experienced writers alike.

This workshop is free
but pre-registration at the library
is required. Please bring a
journal or notebook and pen
or pencil. Because Paulann
expects each participant to do
considerable writing, she urges
you to bring a reasonably large
notebook or journal.
Your arguments against cannabis are clearly
lacking. Learn to craft solid arguments based on
fact and people will take you seriously.

We write to create
ourselves, to discover---moment
to moment to moment---who we
are, who we are becoming.

Join Oregon Poet
Laureate Emerita Paulann
Petersen in a writing workshop
dedicated to generating new
work. Using her springboard
method, you’ll turn yourself
loose in the river of words,
letting language carry you along
in its current. This workshop
will not be genre-specific. What
participants write may turn out
to be memoir or poetic prose
