Among  his  special  interests  he  enjoyed 
doing construction projects around his home.
 
He  was  also  preceded  in  death  by  his 
parents, Leo and Ursula Smith.
 
Survivors  include  his  two  sisters, 
Patricia Roura of Madras, Oregon; and Catherine 
Smith of Hastings on Hudson, New York; and his 
brother Matthew Smith of McMinnville, Oregon.
 
Also surviving are his nieces and nephews 
and their spouses, Sarah Dupe`re of Hastings on 
Hudson, NY and her husband Ernest, with their 
son  Connor;    Molly  Dupe`re  of  Revere,  Mass; 
and Isaac Dupe`re of  Hancock, Maine; Manuel 
and Brenda Roura of Madras and their children, 
David, Michi, Austin and Ravyn;  Felecia Roura 
of  West  Palm  Beach,  Florida  and  her  children, 
Raphael  and  Angelina;  Anna  Roura-Lopez  of 
Madras, Oregon and her children, Diego, Oscar 
and  Anabella;    Shellie  Roura  of    Meridian, 
Mississippi and her son, Seth; Jeannie Roura and 
Christopher Burton of Madras, Oregon and their 
children,  Marijane  and  Abigail;  and  Julia  and 
Alex Turek, of Bend, Oregon.
