Autumn is Here!

Among the many signs that autumn has arrived in Vernonia are kids playing fall
sports. Local soccer players had a chance to host games on the new fields at
Spencer Park. Another sign of the arrival of fall is the annual St. Mary’s Quilt Fair,
where shoppers browsed through handmade quilts and also enjoyed homemade
soups, pie and cinnamon rolls.
