WOEC LIGHT INVENTORY
Council member Webb initiated and is con-
tinuing a city wide inventory of the street
lights that WOEC charges to the City.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
ROSE AVENUE PROJECT
The City Administrator participated in a
meeting with The Ford family Foundation to
review the Vernonia Health Clinic component
of the project. VBC board and consultant
along with project manager Sid Scott made
a presentation to TFFF.
CALIFORNIA AVENUE BUSINESS
PARK
City staff and consultants and development
team members met to prepare an application
for grant funding from Business Oregon for
the California Avenue Business Park.
TUALATIN VALLEY SCENIC
BIKEWAY PROJECT
City staff and consultants met with Washing-
ton County Visitors Bureau to assess where
signage would be placed.
VERNONIA INDICATOR PROJECT
OSU and community members are prepar-
ing various survey tools to secure base line
information.
VERNONIA LAKE PUMP
MPROVEMENTS
WOEC provided power options for the proj-
ect team’s review.
Master Park Plan Community Meeting
June 15, 11am-2pm
The City of Vernonia Parks’ Com-
mittee invites members of the com-
munity to visit with us at the Scout
Cabin on Saturday June 15, 2013.
Consultants from MacKay & Sposito
landscape architects will provide
information on the Master Park Plan
between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
The Master Park Plan is our effort to
focus on strategic improvements in
the 200 acres of land that comprise
the park system within City Limits.
Please come to share your ideas and
assist the City to plan a direction for
our future recreational needs.
