Church News and Events

The Unmasked Man!
I am retiring from the faith. I feel this world is
too large for me and I am too often walking it in isolation.
I know and see a God who is beyond description, even
the universe is unable to contain or explain Him. To
love Him should be easy but for most it seems hard
at times. Why is that? Often left wondering if I am
crazy or afraid to think I could be cherished by one
who is HOLY...other than me, yet He says He inputed
a part of Himself in me; in you! That He initiated the
relationship and pursues me with all the splendor of
His majesty. His desire is relationship with me and to
conform to His will (our greater good in truth). But
although He might break my will to do that, he refuses
to break my spirit, which in part is His own. For love
that is forced upon another is no love at all. He might
weep for us who deny or choose not to accept. But it
will not be for His lack of trying, His lack of dying for
you and I…
When did God cease being God? Other than in
the minds of men, who replaced Him with themselves!
The great exchange of the truth for lie! The one told
long ago is still working in the minds and hearts of
men today. That somewhere along the line the creation
has surpassed the creator. Oh but His grace keeps us
from what is just, what we deserve, the scourge that
only Jesus could take, for our sake; will we awake; or
forsake the only love that is worthy of our all in all…

Philippians 4:8, 9
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is
honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever
is [e]lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any
excellence and if anything worthy of praise, [f]dwell on
these things. 9 The things you have learned and received
and heard and seen in me practice these things, and the
God of peace will be with you.
