She was united in marriage to Dave Rau
in 1978, married for thirteen years; they
later divorced. She was a stay at home
mom and while living in the Vernonia
community she ran an in home day care
for many years.
Lisa was a devoted mother,
prayed a lot, loved to cook, was an
excellent housekeeper, had the gift of
gab, liked spicy food, fast cars, music she
could sing along to and sparkly clothes.
She enjoyed sewing blankets and quilts
and making crafts at Christmas--turning
her house into a winter wonderland
for all to enjoy. She loved spending
evenings playing board games with her
children, was a total prankster and loved
to play tricks and make people laugh,
even though it was always funniest to
her! Her love for life, dedication, artistic
talent and strong characteristics will
absolutely live on through her children.
She re-married to Mark
VanOsdol and lived in Scappoose; they
later divorced. She worked at Wal-
Mart in St Helens for several years, as
overnight freight, then as a checker. She
took great pride in her work no mater
what the task and was very much a
people person.
Survivors include her five
children, Grant, of St Helens; Trent, of
Wilsonville; Bryce, of Austin, Texas;
Whitney of Elk Grove, California; and
Teryn of Illinois; and granddaughter,
Hayden Rau of St Helens.
Also surviving are her sisters
Mrs. Rena Wilt Of Beaverton and Dana
Andrus of Portland and two nephews.
