Readers Lend Their Voices...
To the Vernonia community at large:
I am thankful and grateful
to live in such a supportive, caring
community. Thank You all so much for
your help and support over the last year!
I am overjoyed to have finally
made it back home last mid-December
after many, many months of recovery!
My daughter Allee and I have
been the recipients of countless kind
and supportive acts from the Vernonia
community at large.
Last summer’s benefit concert
was an amazing and overwhelming
show of kindness and support from
the community-Thank You all for your
participation- musicians, organizers,
the Vernonia Community Church,
and audience / benefactors alike! The
proceeds from the benefit concert
facilitated the acquisition of an important
piece of therapeutic equipment that is
still in use to this day...Gradually, I keep
discovering additional more subtle but
no less important acts of kindness and
support from the community that have
occurred; the Vernonia community has
not ceased to amaze me.
Thank You Vernonia!
