Very cold temperatures froze
the Mill Pond in Vernonia
and left everyone looking for a
warm place to snuggle up.
Santa Claus stopped by the West Or-
egon Electric office during a visit
to Vernonia. Kids of all ages got a
chance to sit on Santa's knee and tell
him whether they have been bad or
good this year.

Winter Ginger Bread-VHS Students in the Folk Art Class cre-
ated these likenesses of Vernonia businesses. Cafe 47 was built
by Austin Long, Kody Dyer and Holleigh Cavett; Black Bear
was created by Levi Timmerman, Jacob Dixon, and Karly De-
Witt; and Mini Mart was constructed by Kelsey Brown, Mikol
Pihl, and Kendrick Leaverton.
