Star Gazer
By By Esther Arce
Collectively there is a strong desire to reform existing political, economic,
and business institutions in order to create new power structures. It’s easy to
think big and act large, but are you grounded in reality? Conservation first is
what’s called for this May.
^
Mercury in retrograde motion the last half of the month will throw a wrench in
anyone’s plans. Lost or crossed messages are more likely to occur now. This
time is notorious for causing computer glitches, mechanical difficulties, and
car malfunctions, and this one will effect electronic equipment especially. Ex
pect delays or changes to travel plans. Even with the best intentions, you may
run into quite a bit of disagreement during this time. This doesn’t necessarily
mean that you’re wrong but you may need to reexamine your position. If it’s
difficult to reach a compromise, consider delaying any negotiations or discus-
sions. This is not the best time for putting your money into new investments,
and it’s definitely not the best for buying a new car. Trust your instincts; if
something feels off-kilter, it probably is.
Aries
You’re challenged to put a plan into action. Just make sure you chose some
thing that you’re willing to complete. You’ll have to deal with your nemeses,
patient, as you won’t be able to force anything to happen. Have you ever won
dered why it only happens if it doesn’t matter? Then it comes without effort.
Taurus
Happy birthday! The next year promises lots of opportunities for advance
ment, but only with some effort on your part. The hardest thing is deciding
what you really want out of life now. Ever try to get a Taurus to change their
mind once it’s made up? Jot impossible, but quite difficult.
Gemini
There is a good opportunity for breakthrough but it’ll more than like come in
an unexpected way. If you have made such a strong commitment to a particu-
lar position that you are unwilling to see it challenged, you may be quite upset
by some of the reactions you get. Do what you do best; keep an open mind.
Cancer
Spring is here and it’s time to come out of your shell. Shed your shyness for a
little while and make an effort to meet some new friends or take a chance on
love. You’ve been working hard; now let someone else take care of you for a
little while. You’ll still be needed in the morning.
Leo
With mars moving into your Sun sign this month you’ll have plenty of impul
sive energy directing you. Just make sure that you’re not jumping in with both
feet first and your eyes closed. It’s time to step up to the challenge and be the
leader you know you where always meant to be.
Virgo
Your powers of concentration and your willpower are strong now. This is a fa
vorable time for pursuit of long-range goals and ambitions. Go with the flow
as you experience some setbacks this month, and don’t be surprised if you
have to alter some of your plans. It’s a good thing you’re so changeable.
Libra
You’ll want to get some balance and moderation in your life this month. Be a
bit more careful with your pocketbook as it can be easy to spend everything
you have. Your appetite for art, romance, and beauty can lead to some very
pleasurable experiences.
Scorpio
It’s a good time for uncovering secrets; something you’re really good at. Make
sure you have all the information first before making a decision as not every-
^ thing is as it appears. Use your strong intuition to sense out the truth. You’ll
be glad of it in the end.
Sagittarius
It’s time to plan or set off on your next great adventure. There are new places
to see, people to meet, and things to learn. You really should be out there. The
trick is to do it in a way you’ve never done before.
Capricorn
You’re at the start of some major transformations in your life. It’s okay to
want power and control, but not at the expense of something greater. The end
doesn’t always justify the means. Use your brilliant mind to come up with a
solution that makes winners out of all.
Aquarius
Your love of freedom may be challenged by someone who wants you to do
things their way. Instead of your usual rebellious response, you might want to
listen as they may actually be right, and you may not have a choice this time
anyway. You’ll get your chance to do things your way soon enough.
Pisces
Trying to make up your mind about something can be very difficult for you,
* * but take comfort in knowing that you can still change your mind. And you
probably will. A few times as a matter of fact. Test your artistic skills in some
writing. The more fantastical, the better.
