Violin, viola, and cello players will have a chance to learn and perform music to- gether under the baton of Brittany Murray, an accomplished young Ver- nonia violinist. The orchestra will of- fer a challenge to musicians at many levels, although they should have at least one year of experience with their instruments. Practices will be held weekly. Community-wide Garage Sales, September 15 Vernonia Pioneer Museum Talk Scheduled, September 16 The Vernonia Pioneer Museum Association will host a museum talk on Sunday, Sept 16, at 2 p.m. Marie (Birkenfeld) Bellingham, Stella (Bellingham) Saturn, and George Bellingham will talk about Birkenfeld’s history and what it was like growing up there; it was much more than just a school and grocery store at one time. St. Mary’s 37th Annual Quilt and Crafts Fair, Spetember 20-23 This year’s quilt fair will run Thursday, September 20, through Sun- day, September 23.
