VERNONIA’S
Well it’s back-to-school time with another season
about to begin. Football games, crunching leaves
and crisp night air are ahead. Children will be out
and about and back to their normal routines. With
the increase in traffic and back-to-school activity, we
encourage drivers to be extra aware of pedestrians
and cyclists – no matter what community you find
yourself in.
We’re busy here at Vernonia’s Voice too. Back-to-
school means more content for the paper. We’re cur-
rently seeking students over the next few weeks that
have a desire to bring the school’s news and photos
to the community. Please don’t be shy – we want to
hear from you if you’re interested in this role!
As we move into another month, preparing now for
the October issue, we look forward to hearing from
more of the community. People are contacting us
more and more each month, and we love it! Do you
have a story you want to tell? Or need help telling?
An engagement to announce, a new baby or grand-
baby? Please contact us.
Lastly, we will begin publishing “Letters to the Editor”
starting with the October issue, space permitting.
