Annual labor law conference in Portland Jan. 25
The annual Oregon Labor Law Con-
ference will held Friday, Jan. 25, at
the IBEW Local 48 hall in Portland.
Founded over 20 years ago by the
late Norman Malbin, general counsel
for IBEW Local 48, the conference
features leading legal practitioners
from Oregon, the Northwest, and the
nation for a day of dynamic sessions
and practical advice, followed by a
social gathering to build bridges
within the labor movement. Cost is
$95 and includes breakfast, lunch,
coffee, social hour refreshments (ap-
petizers and drinks), and conference
materials. Registration starts at 7:30
a.m., and the conference runs from
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a
