‘Blue’ Oregon” is the theme of
the convention. Guest speakers
include Chuck Sheketoff, exec-

League job fair
The Columbia-Pacific Building
Trades Council is encouraging
affiliates to participate in a Ca-
reer Connections Job Fair put on
by the Urban League of Port-
land. The fair is Wednesday,
April 22, at the Double Tree Ho-
tel, 1000 NE Multnomah St.,
Portland.
The event provides an oppor-
tunity for the construction trades
and apprenticeship programs to
recruit job seekers. Last year
over 600 people attended.
