History Museum
Union members will have an oppor-
tunity to visit the fledgling Pacific
Northwest Labor History Museum on
Friday, Nov. 20, as Oregon AFSCME
Council 75 will hold a grand opening
of its new Salem headquarters.
The labor history museum is located
in the AFSCME building at 1400 Tan-
dem Ave. NE.
The grand opening will run from
6:30 to 8 p.m.
LCSA’s Yule party
slated for Dec. 19
Labor’s Community Service Agency
will hold its 13th annual “Presents from
Partners” holiday toy drive. The annual
event culminates in a toy distribution
party for underprivileged children.
To participate, drop off a new, un-
wrapped toy to the Northwest Oregon
Labor Council or Labor’s Community
Service Agency between now and Dec.
