Relief Nursery
EUGENE — For nearly a decade,
Plumbers and Fitters Local 290 has do-
nated to Eugene’s Relief Nursery Inc.
during the holiday season.
On Dec. 12, Business rep Lou
Christian and other members of the
union did it again — dropping off
sweatsuits, clothes and underwear for
all 251 kids enrolled in the Early Child-

Relief Nursery, Inc. is a private,
non-profit agency that helps low-in-
come families with children between
birth and six years of age, who are at-
risk for child abuse and neglect.
“They make it personal, buying spe-

ally special to us,” said Kelley Suther-
land, community relations director for
the Relief Nursery.
Relief Nursery Inc. is located at
1720 West 25th Ave., Eugene. The
phone number is 541-343-9706.
