"Resident Evil: Afterlife" offers high packed
action, gruesome zombies, violent story line

Bloodthirsty zombies
roam the streets looking
for their next victim to tear
to pieces. "Resident Evil:
Afterlife" is a science-fiction
action horror film at its
finest, written and directed
by Paul W.S. Anderson, a
British film director who has
directed all four Resident
Evil films. It features a fine
cast of actors: Milla Javovich,
Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts,
Wentworth Miller and
Boris Kodjoe. The film is an
adaptation of the popular
Capcom Co. video game
series "Resident Evil."
The viewer is introduced
to the Alice clones attacking
Albert Wesker of the
Umbrella Corporation in
Japan. Throughout the film,
Alice searches for remaining
survivors of the deadly
T-virus outbreak, which
turns humans into flesh
eating zombies.
in 3-D. Although the end of
the movie leaves the viewer
unsatisfied and slightly

Javovich keeps the film
exciting and is a true female
action hero, fighting to keep
herself and the others alive.
Her acting is superb and the
stunts are quite unbelievable
for an average human.
The movie is classified
as an action horror movie,
but individuals seeking to
watch a true horror film will
not be too impressed. At
the beginning, the viewer
will be pulled into the plot
with the high packed action,
but some parts of the film
are somewhat slow and
confusing. Sporadically,
zombies pop out of places
and leave the viewer
surprised as the stunts are
truly one of a kind.

nudity, this film is the first
