in love with one of my
friends. I know what

that, this is high school

for it. It's more than like, I
can guarantee that. She's
an amazing person to be
around and whenever she
and I are together we can't
stop laughing with each
other. I just love seeing

ago and it got obsessive,
so I stopped. I actually eat
less when I'm not counting
calories," a female senior said.
Opinions were mixed about
whether students felt pressure
to exercise or about their eating
habits. Many of those who did
feel pressure said it came from
peers or the media.
"People will judge you
based on your appearance
and also you will compare
yourself to other people with
'the perfect body,"' a female
freshman said.
Most people reported the
pressure being self-inflicted,
and many are realizing that
this is often the case.
"I do [feel pressure], but a
lot less pressure than before. I
am comfortable with my body
now—finally," a female senior
said.
