The Lions added another vic
tory to their list Tuesday night
when they beat the visiting
team from Newberg.
The Lions were in the lead for
all the game except for the
first few minutes when a New
berg player made the first bas
ket, then the Lions went to
town taking the lead they never
lost.
At the half time the Lions led
15 to 7. Only in the last quar
ter did the Newberg team play
ball. They held the Lions to
four points, while they made 7,
but it did not help them much.
This was the last game of the
year played on our floor.
