Bogle-Boyd Repeat Vows

who gave her in marriage. Her
long veil of tulle and chantilly lace
fell from a bandeau of tulle ruch-

Open Air Opera
Slated for Bowl
Another production of Port­
land’s nationally famous open-
air operas“ free to the public, will
be staged in Washington Park
Bowl, August 8, 9 and 15, when
the Portland Civic Opera associa­
tion will present Verdi’s great
“ II Trovatore” under the musical
direction of Ariel Rubstein.
The opera is in rehearsal with
well-known local men and wom­
en vocalists in the principal roles

association’s 1952 production of
‘ Faust,” which received the en­
thusiastic acclaim of the press and
of some 30,000 people in the park

ported by a large chorus and an
orchestra of 42 pieces furnished
by Portland musicians’ union, lo­
cal No. 99, A. F. of L. Services of
all those connected with the pro­
duction will be donated.
“II Trovatore” with Bruce Mar­
vin as choral director, Mark Dan­
iels as stage director, ar.d Doro
Johnson as stage designer, will be
presented with the cooperation of
the city bureau of parks and rec­
reation, of which Dorothea Lensch
is director, and will be a highlight
of the bureau’s fourth annual
summer festival of music.
