C hurches to serv e on th e ir com ­
m ission of evangelism .
This com m ission carries th e r e ­
sponsibility for plan n in g activ ities
of th e P o rtla n d C ouncil of
C hurches a t E aster tim e. This
includes m aking arran g em en ts
for th e Good F rid ay and E aster
sunrise services. R everend Boyd
is scheduled to be one of the
speakers at th e Good F rid ay se r­
vice.
A nother d u ty th a t th is com ­
mission perform s is th a t of ch ap ­
lain service to th e county hos­
pital, state tuberculosis hospital,
th e city jail and rest homes.
