Lilly lives in the
St. Jean—once in
the center of New
York’s 1920s jazz
scene—where musi-
cian Brandon lived
during the prohibi-
tion. Owner of a
notorious speakeasy,
he witnessed a crime
spree fueled by
liquor and passion.
In the midst of it all,
Brandon simply dis-
appeared. Now Lilly
is drawn into his
mystery. In the glit-
ter of Times Square,
an epic love is about
to unfold across the
decades.

Nature and the beauty of
emptiness have heavily
inspired Brian Sostrom’s
paintings.
The atmospheric images
are not intended to com-
municate a story but rather
create an intriguing visual
poem.
His recent works are
acrylic paint on Plexiglas.
The slick surface of the
plastic sheeting makes
an excellent surface for
subtle brushwork and mark
making.
