nity Connection and Step
Forward Activities, Inc.
jointly fi led the applica-
tions, for funding in sup-
port of transportation ser-
vices for seniors, and for
people with disabilities of
any age. According to the
STF grant application, the
total allocation is $134,000
($67,000 the fi rst year,
and $67,000 the second).
According to the Section
5310 grant application, the
total amount is $16,976.27.
The Board voiced praise
for Carpenter’s efforts
and the services, and both
applications were sepa-
rately approved to be sent
to the Oregon Department
of Transportation, with a
motion from Harvey, and a
second from Bennett, and
a motion from Bennett,
and a second from Nichols,
respectively.

Connections Board, was
approved, with a motion
from Bennett, and a second
from Harvey. Commis-
sioner Nichols was ap-
pointed.

2017, respectively.
Turner and Cook
discussed Resolution No.
2017-1001, Authorizing
An Inter-fund Loan From
The General Fund To
Fair Board Fund, with the
Board. Turner said that,
because of the winter sea-
son, maintenance issues,
and issues with the timing
of State Lottery funding,
an inter-fund loan is neces-
sary. The inter-fund loan,
not to exceed $10,000, was
approved, with a motion
from Bennett, and a second
from Nichols.
A County Electronic
Mail (E-mail) Retention
policy was approved, with
a motion from Bennett,
and a second from Nichols.
A Commission work
session is scheduled for
February 8, 2017, 9 a..m.
