Eddie’s extension got cut
short, so they were married

Ed was a hard worker

and then ranched during
the summer.
He was active in the
VFW and was a Com-
mander from 1971-1972.
He was a Manager of
the VFW Social Quarters
twice, working hard to
make it a place where Vets
and their Guests could feel
welcome. Ed was also very
dedicated to the Elks As-
sociation. He was Past Ex-
alted Ruler, State Chaplain
and State Vice President.
Ed loved Life and loved
to dance. He never missed
a Dallas Cowboy football
game. He was an avid fan
and cheered for them even
if they did not do well.

Honsvick
December
6, 2016 in Baker City,
Oregon at the age of 60.
Born June 28, 1956 in
Vallejo, California to Glen
and Laura Honsvick, Glen
was a man with a family as
large as his presence.
He is survived by his
wife and only love of 40
years Lorene (Lori) Hons-
vick, their four children
Icky (Amy DuShane),
Sticky (Lisa Honsvick),
Scary (Sara Dixon), Pee
(Glen Honsvick, III), ten
granddaughters and one
grandson.
His affi nity for ter-
rible nicknames aside,
he was a man of many
talents. He spent most of
his professional life as a
small contractor using his
keen eye for precision to
create things of beauty. He
felt most at home while
hunting in the mountains
or sitting in a lounge
chair leisurely watering
his garden during warm
summer evenings. One of
his favorite pastimes was
eating a plate full of things
that he killed and grew.
Anyone who knew Glen
knew that while he looked
like he could wrestle a
bear, he had an amazing
sense of humor paired with
an infectious giggle. One
of his previous co-workers
nicknamed him “Chuck-
les” for this very reason.
His garage became a favor-
ite gathering spot for the
men of Medical Springs
to tell stories, shoot bows,
and drink soda pop (al-
though Anheuser Busch
called it something else).
