East Area Commissions on
Transportation (NEACT)
and the South East Area
Commissions on Trans-
portation (SEACT) will be
meeting in John Day from
11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Pacifi c
Time at the Grant County
Regional Airport, 72000
Airport Road. The group
will review proposed
projects for the 2018-2021
Statewide Transportation
Improvement Program
(STIP).
A separate meeting of the
Governor’s Transportation
Vision will be held at the
same location between 9
and 11:30 a.m.
An Area Commission
on Transportation is an
advisory body chartered
by the Oregon Transporta-
tion Commission to help
address all aspects of
transportation.
The North East Area
Commission on Transpor-
tation is comprised of com-
munity leaders and other
stakeholders from Morrow,
Umatilla, Wallowa, Union
and Baker Counties, as
well as the Confederated
Tribes of the Umatilla
Indian Reservation.
The South East Area
Commission on Trans-
portation is comprised of
community leaders and
other stakeholders from
Malheur, Grant and Harney
counties, as well as the
Burns-Paiute Tribe.
