USFS Engine E-612 crew from Halfway, Oregon,
taken Tuesday evening on the way into Burnt River
Canyon, after the Cornet and Windy Ridge fi res had
merged into one.

Burnt River School served as the site for the enor-
mous fi re camp set up to battle the Eldorado fi re
burning outside Unity in the Ironside area. One
structure was confi rmed lost.
